Multi Core Security Alarm Cable - 2 to 24 Cores for Multi-Zone & Addressable Systems
Multi core security alarm cable consolidates many low-voltage alarm circuits into a single jacket - from a 2-core sensor loop to a 24-core building riser. It is the standard for multi-zone intruder alarm panels, addressable fire alarm loops and large access control systems where pulling one cable is faster and tidier than pulling many. Each core is colour-coded to BS EN standards for fault-free termination, and the cable is available shielded or unshielded with PVC or LSZH jacket and CPR EN 50575 fire performance. Every reel is 100% tested before shipment. For multi-core cables we test insulation resistance between every pair of cores (not just adjacent cores), high-voltage withstand between all cores and sheath, and - on shielded versions - shield continuity.
